Description
The 4 ft tall u-post is a powder-coated steel post designed for lighter duty applications. Powder-coated finish provides added durability and helps prevent rusting. The studded design allows you to attach and secure your fencing product to the post with ease. No digging required for installation, simply drive posts into ground. Often used for fencing in gardens with chicken wire or other light duty wire.

Those windy summer thunderstorms can wreak destruction if not protected. Only ever had one bend, and it was totally my fault. Exactly what I needed.

Have used dozens of these for 30 plus years with great success, always have supply around yard and farm

They were easy to put into the ground and attach the wire too. We'll see if the dog breaks through. If they bend, I will amend my statement.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BoredatHome from Very lightweight I bought some of these to install a 36in wire fence across the backside of my mobile home. My to smart for his own good dog figured out that he could bust through the underpinning, come out on the front side of the home and be free to terrorize the neighbors. I didnt notice that all but the bottom 2 tabs face up(as shown in the pictures of the product)when i purchased these. In fact it never crossed my mind that the tabs would face anyway other than down. With the bottom 2 down and the rest up it makes installing the wire fence very awkward and doesnt securely hold the fence. The first down tab will be underground so only 1 tab actually holds the fencing down firmly and because the other tabs are up tabs, the only way to securely hold the fencing is to pull up a lower wire and hope that the fencing will bend enough to allow you to put the wire behind the tab. If not then the fencing comes loose from the pole with the slightest upward movement. Depending on the type of fence, most of the tabs cant be used. I could only use 1 down tab and 1 up tab. Luckly I had some wire ties left over from when I installed a 5ft wire fence and was able to use those with a little manipulation to keep the fencing secure and tight to the poles. These things are very light duty, my dog bent one over when he had his front paws on the top of the fencing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cloud4 from Problem with notch. Pros: well built Cons:: up notches are at tops. Down notches are at bottom. Suggestion: provide up and down notches side by side for better securing thin plastic netting.
